Digital Solutions Developer – On-site Johannesburg (full stack .Net, Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, Microsoft Copilot, APIs, Qlik Sense, ABP.IO)

ENVIRONMENT:

A leading retail group is seeking a Digital Solutions Developer to design, develop, integrate and support enterprise digital solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate business processes, enhance reporting and enable AI-driven productivity. The role supports ERP, warehouse management, sales, e-commerce and business applications across a national retail environment using Microsoft Power Platform, .NET, Power BI, Copilot, APIs, Qlik Sense and ABP.IO.

DUTIES:

• Develop and support business process automation using Microsoft Power Automate.

• Build AI-powered solutions with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.

• Design Power BI and Qlik Sense dashboards, reports and analytics.

• Develop, integrate and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.

• Design and develop enterprise applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core and ABP.IO.

• Develop responsive web applications, backend services and APIs.

• Integrate internal and third-party systems.

• Perform testing, code reviews, deployments, release management and production support.

• Produce technical documentation and assist with solution architecture.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors and IT teams to deliver digital transformation initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.

• 5–8 years' software development experience.

• 3+ years' Microsoft Power Platform experience.

• Experience with .NET full stack development, API integration, business process automation and Power BI.

• Experience with Qlik Sense and ABP.IO advantageous.

• Retail, ERP, supply chain or distribution experience advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

• Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.

• C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Blazor.

• REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, OAuth, middleware and systems integration.

• SQL Server, T-SQL, data modelling and reporting.

• Git, Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Angular.

• Knowledge of ERP, retail, e-commerce and business intelligence solutions.
