Snr Digital Marketing Manager

ENVIRONMENT:

A forward-thinking Senior Digital Marketing Manager is sought by a Digital Agency to develop, implement & manage exceptional marketing campaigns that will enhance the company’s brand, drive website traffic and generate leads. The ideal candidate will preferably possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Marketing or similar Degree, have at least 5 years’ Digital Marketing / Advertising experience, demonstrable experience leading & managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display of advertising campaigns, able to optimize landing pages, experience with A/b tests and user funnels, PPC Campaigns & working knowledge of ad serving tools like Facebook and how to implement lookalike campaigns.

 

DUTIES:

Execute the Social Media plan and manage the community.

Plan and execute regular sending of mailshots.

Ensure that websites are up to date with products, availability, and pricing. In the case of Harley, that all the bikes are showing.

Manage CRM (AutoSLM) making sure that all bikes are showing and that it correctly feeds all portals (AutoTrader, Gumtree and Automart).

Make sure Merchandise and Meemo products are listed online on third-party portals like Takealot and Daddy’s deals.

Ensure that the quality of all online collateral including photographs is of a high quality.

Manage the Paid Search spend with TrafficBrand.

Ensure that the HOG remains actively connected to the business.

Look at the SEO on the websites and improve where required.

Lead marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to their execution and implementation, especially on Social Media.

Responsible for all design work.

Responsible for making sure all brands remain in their respective corporate identities and that all guidelines are met.

Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns to keep them fresh and effective.

Directing marketing and promotions staff/outsourced companies and supervise their work.

Work with Directors and Department Heads to discuss plans and marketing strategies.

Stay current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world.

Track changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.

Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

Design, build, and maintain the company’s social media presence.

Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.

Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests.

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise the user experience.

Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

Make sure all staff are aware of everything published online.

Ensure all leads are followed up timeously.

Make sure that AutoSLM is used correctly and stay abreast with changes.

 

In Addition (Minor) –

Organise events (very small scale).

Manage Offline Marketing like COVID-19 posters at the branches, price.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications –

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing or a related field beneficial.

 

Experience/Skills –

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing or Advertising position.

Proven working experience in Digital Marketing, particularly within the industry.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.

Optimizing landing pages, A/b tests and user funnels.

Working knowledge of ad serving tools like Facebook and how to implement lookalike campaigns.

Setting up and optimising PPC campaigns on all major search engines.

Working knowledge of (not necessarily ability) HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.

In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.

Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.

Able to develop budgets.

Financial planning and strategy.
