ENVIRONMENT:
A leading software engineering and data science consultancy with a global presence, catering to a diverse clientele that includes large enterprises and emerging startups across South Africa, the Middle East, and the United States is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale, multi-regional projects that span various sectors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving results in complex settings.
 
DUTIES:
  • Lead and manage large-scale Programmes across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of agility by implementing Agile methodologies and best practices within teams.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Leverage ServiceNow (SN) for project management, if applicable.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in programme management, preferably within the software engineering or data science sectors.
  • Agile certification with a proven track record in Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing programmes across multi-regional teams, with an understanding of multicultural dynamics.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • ServiceNow (SN) experience is a plus.
